Yeung Fai, fifth generation
descendant of a Chinese puppetry lineage now residing in
Europe, approaches this age-old tradition by adding European
modern dram techniques, as well as inegrating multimedia and
music concept to besto puppet shows with brand new
expressions.
"Hand Stories" is based on the
true family story of Yeung - a little boy's intermittent
laughter light up to play, but the sotry actually speaks of
blood and tears, of grievance, played by the gorgeously
dressed puppets in stark contrast to the ancient element:
betrayal. ......
